I love starting every morning with oatmeal and since it is getting warm out – overnight oatmeal is so refreshing and I can still get in my oat craving each morning!
Apple Spice Overnight Oatmeal
Serving Size: 1
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Refrigerate: overnight or at least 3 hours
1/4 cup old fashioned oats
1/4 Greek Yogurt (I use Fage)
1 T unsweetened applesauce
1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 T apple butter
1/2 tsp. apple spice
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 Tbsp. chia seeds (I use whole)
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1) Add oats, Greek yogurt, and applesauce – stir
2) Add apple butter, cinnamon, chia seeds, and vanilla extract – stir
3) Pour almond milk over top, close lid, and shake. Place in the refrigerator overnight and enjoy in the morning.
Off to work and I think I can basically say HAPPY HUMP DAY on this 4-day work week!
