My favorite kind of dessert is a healthy dessert – the kind that tastes sweet and delicious but fuels my body the same as any meal. I love feeding my sweet tooth and chocolatey desires, but hate any type of crappy feeling in my stomach or in my mind.
I absolutely love this dessert – the texture, taste, and health components make it that much better! The Chocolate Avocado Pudding is a mix between my typical banana ice cream and avocado mousse – only 5 ingredients and 3 simple steps!
Chocolate Avocado Pudding
1.5 frozen bananas
3-5 T cocoa powder
0.5 T raw honey
- Peel frozen bananas (or you can pre-peel and freeze bananas).
- Place frozen bananas, avocado, cocoa powder, and raw honey in a food processor – blend until combined. Additional topping?? – see below!
- Serve immediately!
For an extra topping…
Melt 0.5 Tbsp. of sunflower seed butter (or any nut butter) with 0.5 Tbsp. of raw honey in the microwave for 15 seconds. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Pour on top and sprinkle with pepitas!
